Introduction to Colossians!

Here's my introduction to the book of Colossians, and its course.

Paul's letter to the believers in Colosse was written around A.D. 60 or 61. It was one of his four "prison epistles" written during his first Roman imprisonment. This letter was carried from Rome to Colosse by the hand of Tychicus, a faithful servant of God and fellow-soldier in the gospel work. The letter holds very practical instruction concerning our faith in Christ, righteous living, and how to have godly relationships in many areas of life (i.e. Husband to wife, wife to husband, child to parent, parent to child, believer to unbeliever, servant to Master, Master to servant, the Christian to God, etc.). May you be richly blessed as you study Paul's letter to the Colossians!

God bless you!

Introduction to Philippians

Here's the introduction to the Book of Philippians, and its course.

To those in Philippi, the ancient Macedonian city, located just above the Aegean sea, and named after King Philip, the father of Alexander the Great, was this letter addressed! Paul wrote a letter to the believers in Philippi, while he was imprisoned in Rome (A.D. 60 or 61, First Roman Imprisonment). The letter covers essential and practical Christian truths such as having a humble mind like Christ's, righteousness by faith, understanding how to advance in holiness of life, and how to live a joyful life in Christ no matter what kind of life circumstances beset us! You'll be blessed as you uncover the truths packed into this small letter to the Philippians!

God bless you!
